The Health Care Accounting and Finance Benchmarking Association (HCAFBA)
is an association of accounting and finance professionals, in the health care industry, that compare operating performance and identify
the best business practices.

situated organizations. Health Care Accounting and Finance Benchmarking
Association will gather data in the form of group studies
on behalf of participants.

Membership
Membership
is open to individuals employed as permanent employees in accounting and finance organizations of health care companies and currently
available at no charge to qualified individuals. Participation
in association activities will be charged separately.
Benefits

Studies:
HCAFBA
will identify and present to members opportunities to participate
in Benchmarking studies on various topics of importance to accounting and finance organizations.
There are two
types of Benchmarking studies provided:
- Association
studies are offered to the membership as a whole with costs divided.
- Single company
sponsored studies addressing the interest of one member company
can be offered to other selected members for no fee.
The association
will also support industry benchmarking efforts:
- Research
- Access public and private databases.
- Identify
study participants - Top companies interested in benchmarking
accounting and finance issues.
- Collect
data - Manage response collection with the participants as a third
party.
- Lead site
visits - Structure with best participants.
Roundtables:
Interest group roundtables will be organized throughout the year.
Members will pay a nominal fee to join real and virtual roundtable
discussions that address specific processes.
Cost:
Currently, membership in HCAFBA is FREE! Costs
of studies are shared by the participants.
